We are passionate about building patient care around a team treatment model that allows our clinical staff to focus on what they do best (patient care!), and affording them the necessary support to deliver the best patient outcomes, to a manageable caseload, all while having camaraderie along the way.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes the general clinical competency checklists and any addendum competency checklists for necessary duties associated with job description.
  • Create Home Exercise Program forms or complete established templates prescribed by the licensed Physical Therapist and provide to patient electronically or in printed format.
  • Updating the electronic or printed Home Exercise Program as prescribed by the licensed Physical Therapist
  • Assist the licensed Physical Therapist(s) in carrying out routine physical therapy exercises and functional activities and procedures permitted under 259 CMR 5.0.
  • Performs routine treatment exercises and functional activities such as, strengthening, self-stretching, AAROM or AROM, in accordance with the planned programs established by supervising licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Assists patient in warm up/cool down for treatment with direction of licensed Physical Therapist, help set up exercise equipment and apply hot packs/ice packs according to the treatment plan.
  • Participates in continuing educational activities.
  • Ensure that the treatment plan is followed by calling to reschedule any missed appointments.
  • Performs daily cleaning, restocking, and organizing of the clinic
  • Maintaining, testing and cleaning the hydrocollator
  • Turning over tables and keeping clinic clean to improve flow in clinic

Admin Sr:

  • Ensure all relevant and necessary documentation is fully completed by the patient at intake.
  • Assist admin personnel in completing any necessary authorization documentation.
  • Assist in general clerical duties of the clinic including, but not limited to:
    • answering the telephone
    • scheduling patients
    • collecting co-payments
    • administering intake paperwork to new patients
    • administering outcome measures to existing patients
    • scanning all associated patient paperwork and uploading to their designated Client Profile within EMR
    • ensuring that front desk space/area is maintained, clean, and fully stocked with appropriate forms (i.e. intake paperwork, dry needling consent forms, dismissal/tardy notes, teacher/coach communication forms)
    • assisting Chief Operating Officer/Director of Operations and Administrative Manager on an as needed basis

Exercise Specialist Service Responsibilities:

Deliver all services on the ES self-pay services menu under the direct supervision of the ES on duty
