The Ideal Candidate:
You’re a customer service oriented, resourceful team player who can prioritize well, empathize with our patients, and take initiative. You’re a problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and great communication skills. You have experience in a healthcare setting and value being a part of a strong administrative team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting insurance benefit and coverage checks for current and new patients
- Managing patients’ prior authorization and referrals, requesting additional visits when needed and notifying patients when there may have a lapse in coverage;
- Staying informed and being transparent with patients about their financial responsibility;
- Working with the clinical care team to ensure seamless coordination of care; assisting as needed with patient and insurance company communication
- Working closely with the billing team to assist with any claims issues that arise from patient coverage
